The Gray Flats Trail System is part of the Piney Creek Trail System near Beckley, West Virginia. This network offers approximately 14 miles of trails suitable for mountain biking, hiking, and trail running. The terrain features a mix of singletrack and doubletrack trails, with varying difficulty levels to accommodate riders of all skill levels.

• Gray Flats North Trail: A 2.5-mile green-rated trail with moderate climbs and descents, suitable for beginners and intermediate riders. 

• Gray Flats South Trail: A 1.6-mile trail that offers a mix of gravel and doubletrack, making it family-friendly and ideal for beginners. 

• Ship Rock Trail: A short trail leading to Ship Rock, where riders can enjoy scenic views after climbing a provided ladder. 

• Rock Ridge Trail: A 1.4-mile trail that provides a mix of terrain, suitable for intermediate riders.

• Piney Bluff Trail: A 1.4-mile trail offering scenic views and a moderate challenge for riders.
